2024 MAKE WATER WORK CONTEST

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the Contest, an individual must be a legal resident of the Okanagan.

Employees and board and council members of the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) are encouraged to take the Make Water Work (MWW) pledge but are not eligible to win prizes in the MWW Contest (the “Contest”).

The sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the sponsors for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The sponsors reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant should such an entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

CONTEST PERIOD

May 30, 2024 to September 29, 2024 midnight

Will announce winner within 1 week of the draw date (October 4, 2024).

HOW TO ENTER

(a) No purchase necessary. To enter, submit the Make Water Work pledge at www.makewaterwork.ca. Fill out and submit the entry as instructed during the Contest Period.

(b) Limit of one (1) entry per person, per year on the website. In the case of multiple entries, only the first entry will be considered and the remainder will be void.

(c) No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with entrants except with those selected for a prizes.

PRIZE

Winners will receive one of 2 $500 gift certificates for WaterWise yard materials from one of the participating contest partners.

(a) The winners will be contacted by the Okanagan Basic Water Board within a week of the draw date with instruction on how to claim their prize. And the winners will be announced on, or before, October 8th.

(b) Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited and have no cash value. The sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason.

(c) The sponsors shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.

PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information, such as name and contact details, required to enter the “Make Water Work” (MWW) contest is collected by the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) solely for the purposes of administering the MWW contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without your expressed consent.
